Hi, my name is Kelly and I welcome to "Studio 44 Hairdressing".

I am a professional home-based businesswoman with 30 years experience, offering personal attention and exceptional service on every job, in a relaxed down to earth environment.

I also use vegetable based permanent and semi permanent colours which are kinder to your scalp and hair and leave a beautiful shine.

I also guarantee all my work.

Here is a little about my background;

• I began my hairdressing career as an apprentice working for a prestigious salon which had salons in the city and also Bondi Junction.
• I gained a lot of practical experience here as I had a lot of exposure to many different clientele in extremely busy salons.
• After completing my time (6 years), I felt I needed to move on...
• I gained employment in a well known salon chain in the shire, before I took a position as a senior stylist and manager of a salon in Cronulla, which I loved and built up a wonderful clientele.
• It was around this time in my career that I felt I could offer more to my industry so I applied for a position as an educator of hairdressing in the largest registered training authority in NSW. I received the position which I am proud to say that I am still acting in 12 years later.
• Since then, I have gained many more qualifications and have attended hairdressing courses both in practical work and theory. Some of these are:

A Cert 1V in Hairdressing which entails:

• Fashion Haircutting
• Fashion Colour
• Fashion perming & straightening
• Hairdressing specialist colouring
• Long & short hair fashion
• Mens skills ( Haircutting, face shaving & beard design )

I am also a qualified assessor & trainer which entails:

• Training small groups
• Planning & conducting assessments
• Delivering training sessions
• I have also helped set up hair shows and have been asked to judge hair fashions in hairdressing competitions.

I have a very clear understanding & knowledge of O.H.S. issues in the hairdressing industry.

During the latter part of my career, I started a family - thankfully, we decided to move to Helensburgh about 13 years ago and now, wouldn't live anywhere else.
